STEP 1 - START > RUN
In Windows XP click the "start" button in the bottom left corner of your screen then click the run icon on the right hand side of the start menu
In Microsoft Vista click the "start2 icon in the bottom left corner of your screen then type "run" into the search box.
STEP 2 - OPEN GROUP POLICY EDITOR
In the run command box type "gpedit.msc" then click enter
STEP 3 - OPEN QOS PACKET SCHEDULER
In the GROUP POLICY EDITOR under the "local computer policy" heading -
Expand the "Administrative Templates" folder by clicking the + symbol next to the folder.
In the "Administrative Templates" sub-folders -
Expand the "Network" folder by clicking the + symbol next to the folder.
In the "Network" sub-folders -
Highlight the "QoS Packet Scheduler" folder.
STEP 4 - RESET THE RESERVED BANDWIDTH SETTINGS
Double click the "Limit Reservable Bandwidth" settings option in the right of the screen and reset the values to anything you want.
You can even disable this feature completely. |
